Do you ever get tired of having the same routine every week and a short breather is all you need? Exactly how I’d been feeling for some time. After almost four months of having the same routine, no dates, no adventures, just lectures and a few movies once in a while, I felt drained with each passing day; studying took more time than usual, I got stuck in the middle of drafting posts more than once, everything just took a wrong toll on me
Since it'll be 2017 in a few hours, I thought why not enter the new year with a new shoe idea. I saw the Manolo Blahnik big bowed shoes some time ago, looked up the price and forgot about it. Lol. They cost $985! And I don't have that kind of money for a shoe right now. Then, I stumbled upon them again recently on Instagram and I felt it was about time I made myself one! And really you don't have to trade your lung or kidney to look fab.
Hi my loves! So last week I shared a few tips on how to revamp your denim jacket and how much it all goes down to personal style. Then I promised I was going to show which of the tips I incorporated into my jacket. Its Tuesday and guess who's keeping their promise..

We all love denim! So I wasn't surprised when it was suggested to me to DIY a denim jacket! I had a lot of ideas from the onset. It was almost like I couldn't wait to show you! But when I started working on my jacket, I realized...
Last year, the harmattan played me. But never again! So December 31ST 2015, the harmattan was all gone, the air was fine, no form of dryness or anything. February came along, all friendly and chilly. Then just like that, from nowhere the dryness was back. Full force! Even the trees were taken by surprise. It was like waking up in an entirely different city. One day it's all green and the next day it's the Sahara Desert outside...
Tailored pants are back and I'm obsessed! Right from the skinnies to the wide-leg trousers. As long as they are comfortable. They have my attention.
But let's be honest. I don't think I can splurge all my money on every tailored pants I see and I will definitely not want that for you. I mean, who doesn't want to save some money once in a while. So for my first DIY, I decided to revamp my pants and yes you can too!
This is probably the most difficult part for me; introducing myself and my ideas to the tons of people I hope will visit my blog. A few hours to the launch, I sit here - pen and journal in hand and a heart that seems tightly shut, not willing to let out any words. So I'll start with my head; at least that's all I have for now. Maybe, along the line, my heart will open up.
Growing up, I wore uniforms 5 days a week. On Sundays, my mother will put a pretty dress on me and spend hours on my hair, then she will give me a matching bag and shoes. On those days I felt the prettiest, I was on my own level. I mean...you can't sit with me. But...
