On any normal day, you’ll catch me in a t shirt and jeans. Probably my favorite uniform of all time so when my friend sent me a picture of these graffitied wall the first thing that came to mind was t shirt and jeans plus there was already a lot going on with the wall so I wanted to keep my outfit minimal.

Black and White. I particularly like the striking contrast between these two hues. The fresh color of white against my black skinnies created a clean contemporary appearance and my corset was just that icing on the cake. theantwiwaa.com

I have been eyeing the corset trend for some time and I can’t say there’s a particular way to nail it but for someone like me who’s open to trying out new things you know I had to try it. If there’s anything I know about trying out new trends and nailing them. it’s got to be PLAY IT SAFE UNTIL YOU HAVE HOLD OF IT. And that’s exactly what I did with this outfit- all black and white. I didn’t want a dolled-up look because it seemed quite tricky to me and like I said, as a first timer, I’d rather play it safe than look tacky. theantwiwaa.com

So, I went for ripped jeans, oversized T shirt with an off-shoulder effect and messy hair and that’s how you take a basic uniform to not so basic. I won’t wear this on a regular day. Maybe a fashion event that requires me to look blogger-ish haha but not on a regular day. That’s mainly because of the size and structure of my corset but there are smaller corsets I could definitely wear on a day to day basis. I like the corset trend. I like the fact that it’s in your face and I don’t have to hide the idea of cinching my waist. Should you try it? That depends on you. Are you attending an event or even a night out with fashionistas then go ahead and give it a shot. Let me know what you think. theantwiwaa.com
